You're paying for a system and you're not sure it's doing its job.

Independent System Review

An independent second opinion on whether a system, supplier or proposal is right for you, with no stake in the answer.

Someone's sold you something, or is about to. The proposal reads well and the demo went fine, but you can't tell whether the thing underneath is any good. And the people who could tell you either work for the supplier or want to sell you the replacement.

I review it the way I would inside a large organisation, where picking the wrong platform is a big deal. Does it do what it claims? Does it fit how you actually work? What will it cost over five years, not just one? What happens if you want to leave?

You get a straight answer either way. If it's good, I'll tell you it's good.

Whether this is for you

A good fit if

Anyone about to sign something significant, anyone renewing a contract they no longer fully understand, and anyone with a system everyone complains about but nobody has properly looked at.

Not a fit if

I won't negotiate with the supplier for you, but I'll give you the risks and the questions that put you in a strong position to do it yourself.

What you get

  • A plain-English assessment against what you actually need it to do
  • The real cost over several years, including what leaving would cost
  • The exact questions to put to the supplier, and what a good answer looks like

What it costs

Priced on the size of what's being reviewed, scoped after a free first call. Usually the smallest piece of work I do.

The method

How the work runs

Five clear steps, and you sign off each one before we move on. The price is fixed once we've agreed exactly what's being built, so there are no surprises later.

Questions people ask

Will you tell me if it's fine?

Yes. I've no stake in the answer, which is the whole point of having someone independent look. If the system does what you need and the price is fair, I'll say so and the report will be short. You'll have spent a small amount to stop worrying about it, and that's money well spent.

Sound like you? Let's talk.
